Removing the optional turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four engine from the Sonata’s powertrain lineup is the only significant change. The lineup consists of the same naturally aspirated 191-hp 2.5-liter inline-four in the standard model, a 290-hp turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four in the N Line, and a 192-hp hybrid configuration. Although comprehensive specifications have not yet been released, the 2024 model’s horsepower figures are expected to be comparable to its predecessor’s.
