2024 Hyundai Ioniq 7 Price, Dimensions, SpecsIn the eyes of Hyundai, the 2024 Ioniq Seven concept vehicle is a living place on wheels. On the E-GMP platform that will underpin the Ioniq 5 and many other upcoming Hyundai and Kia EV cars, the Seven is similar in size to the three-row Hyundai Palisade.

The Seven concept car features a futuristic exterior with innovative lighting elements, shape-shifting wheels, and glass panels on the roof and back. But it hints at future developments in design and technology. There’s no doubt that the interior of this vehicle has a large expanse of space that can be reconfigured in a variety of ways. The Ioniq Seven’s 2024 model is expected to have a range of more than 300 miles and rapid charging times, but we don’t know for sure yet.

The Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be redesigned in 2024.

The Hyundai Ioniq 7 is expected to arrive in 2024, and the coach-style doors of the Seven ideas are unlikely to be retained. There is plenty of room for three rows of seats with Hyundai’s 126-inch wheelbase and flat floor. Additionally, it will need a steering wheel and a dashboard that look like they belong in a car. Even though it is possible, Hyundai believes it may be too early to commercialize a transparent roof screen.

Production Ioniq 7 is already underway and further along than the Seven concepts would lead one to expect. Essentially, even while the brand’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) is expected to be retained in the production model, other design features will need to be scaled back to fit in with the offered lower level of autonomy. This year, Honda was the first company to make a car that could drive itself, which is already the standard for most cars.

The Ioniq Seven idea shows how a three-row SUV body can be paired with an entirely flat floor to create enormous interior space. Traditional rows of seats are traded for flexible layouts that allow for a lounge-like feel in Hyundai vehicles. Coach doorways that open outward from the center make getting in and out of the SUV simple, even if parking in small spaces is more problematic. The entries, for example, may not appear in the final production model.

As with Telsa’s yoke-style steering wheel, the Ioniq Seven design uses a “retractable control stick” instead of a traditional steering wheel. That’s not going to be in the final product; I guarantee you that. A mini-fridge is included in the design and chambers for, oh, “refreshing passengers’ footwear.” However, the star of the show is its panoramic OLED screen. The user wants to see items that can also be shown on the screen. It can also alter the mood of the room.

It is anticipated that the 1.6-liter inline-4 engine in the two-hybrid Ioniqs will produce 104 horsepower and 109 pound-feet of torque. One 32-kilowatt (43-hp) electric motor is sandwiched between the engine and automatic transmission in the traditional hybrid. The powertrain has a maximum output of 139 horsepower and drives the front wheels.

With its 1.6 kilowatt-hours of lithium-ion battery capacity, the Ioniq’s electric motor can either complement the engine’s torque or run the vehicle on its own when traveling at low speeds under light loads. Powered by a 45 kW (60 hp) motor, the 2018 plug-in hybrid version has an estimated 27-mile range from its 8.9-kWh battery pack.

The Hyundai Ioniq 7 will be released and priced in 2024.

Looking at the Ioniq Seven, you can expect a similar trim level selection to the Ioniq 5, which includes SE, SEL, and Limited variants. Hyundai hasn’t revealed anything about pricing or trim levels. We wouldn’t be shocked if the cost of electric vehicles became more comparable to their gas-powered counterparts in the next few years.

The Ioniq Seven in 2024 might start at roughly $50k, which is now the highest end of the Palisade line-up, as a starting point. The Hyundai Ioniq 7 is expected to go on sale in the second half of 2023 and in showrooms worldwide in 2024.
